She would've been my bride (by Ibrahim Olalere)

Morenike has this sassy picture;
The one with streaks of whitish and dimpled
smiles...
Her neck frames pendants of worthful jewels
And her hair, it is glossily black whilst the breeze
let it dance...
No wonder she own a crowd of desperate suitors
But she chose me that stood out of them...
Yes, I did have this simple picture
Also with streaks of whitish and dimpled smiles
No pendants nor glossy hair
But a casual look of an unusual friend...
I would've married morenike to myself
Plus her lumps of riches
And the classy beauty..
At a little yessing gesture,
she would've been my bride
But I should ask
Where lies her modesty? —
